In the Fall of 2017, I had the pleasure of interning with Dr. Robert Natter at the Sunderman Conservatory, working with him as an assistant and co-conductor for the Gettysburg Concert Choir, the Sunderman Conservatory's community choir. Through this mentorship, I learned how to run a choral department, recruit singers, program a concert, pick repertoire for choirs with varying levels of skill, and countless bits of knowledge on conducting and rehearsal technique. In the Spring of 2018, I was lucky enough to conduct the Gettysburg College Choir, a more select ensemble, on my own piece, Lux Aeterna. I continued to enjoy working intermittently with the College Choir until my graduation in the Spring of 2019.
